I am originally from Cincinnati, OH. I attended college at Purdue University while majoring in Accounting. During my last semester, I decided to change my major to Early Childhood Education and finished my degree at Ivy Tech in Indiana. -After graduating in 2012, I began teaching preschool to children with disabilities until moving to Florida in 2015.
I am currently employed at Helping People Succeed as an Employment Specialist assigned to the Project SEARCH Team at Martin Heath System. Project SEARCH is an international program for individuals between the ages of 18 and 21 years old living with disabilities. The program focuses on on-the- job training providing valuable, transferable skills in order to obtain and maintain employment. Project SEARCH is based at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. The administrative team oversees a large international network of Project SEARCH program sites. We maintain an active, ongoing program of technical assistance, program evaluation, program development, and continuous improvement.
